The New PEO Compass

IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Orlando, Florida: The new “PEO Compass” (https://peocompass.com)  was introduced and released at this year’s NAPEO Risk Management Workshop in Tampa, FL.  The “PEO Insight Compass”, as it was originally called, was created in 2011 to provide workers’ compensation professionals in the Professional Employer Organization (“PEO”), brokerage, underwriting, legal and regulatory communities with most comprehensive and current insight within the following categories:

  • National Workers’ Compensation Payroll (Increase/Decrease)

  • National Workers’ Compensation Combined Ratio (Increase/Decrease)

  • Bureau Rate/Loss Cost Changes by State

  • Residual Market Population Changes by State

  • Investment Income Amount and Trend

  • Brokerage Survey and Study Analysis on Premiums (Increase/Decrease)

  • Frequency of events (Increase/Decrease)

In addition to reporting on the results the workers’ compensation environment, the new PEO Compass will be focused on identifying and expounding upon the positive benefits and contributions of the PEO model while neutralizing unwarranted negativity as a result.  Especially from the deployment of workers’ compensation perspective, the PEO model has proven it’s most efficient and effective for American businesses.  As a disruptive force in the insurance world, PEO’s are not fully understood and the new PEO Compass focuses on bringing clarity and education to the PEO model and the benefits it provides. What’s New? Looking forward, the PEO Compass will expand its focus and contributing expert network in order to inform the PEO, brokerage, underwriting, legal and regulatory on all facets of PEO through the insurance and data lens.  Whereas the original PEO Compass predominately focused on workers’ compensation, whereas the newest release will focus on the following categories in addition to workers’ compensation:

  • Health Insurance

  • Specialty Casualty

  • PEO Regulatory and Legal

  • The Data-Driven PEO
