NAPEO's Annual Risk Management Conference 2016
The NAPEO Risk Management Conference is here again and it is the best line up I think I have ever seen. Of course, Workers' Compensation Risk Management is always the primary focus and center stage of the conference, there are also some really cool topics that involve data management, claims and Employment Practices Liability.
This agenda has a far more regulatory flair then usual though with the keynote session being given by Mona Carter at 8:00 am on Friday. She has seen the industry through the eyes of a workers' compensation regulator in Kentucky before taking on roles in national compliance at NCCI. She currently serves as the Senior Division Executive National Policy Development and is the go to person for state regulators when trying to understand anything PEO and workers' compensation. Her presentation will be worth the price of admission alone. I am also looking forward to hearing about the later OSHA updates in regard to staffing as well as the National Association of Insurance Commissioner ("NAIC") briefing on their newest Large Deductible White Paper and how it could impact PEO. I have a feeling there will be a lot of discussion of the age-old debate of what is PEO? and what is staffing...?
And as always, we will get a sense of the "State of the Market" for workers' compensation insurance capacity from those that provide it.
Below is the full itinerary that is copied from... Nice job NAPEO.
See you there!
