ULLICO Casualty Ordered Into Rehabilitation

Carrier leaves many small businesses looking for new insurance options:

The Delaware Chancery Court on March 10 ordered ULLICO Inc. unit ULLICO Casualty Co. into rehabilitation.

According to a March 13 news release, the state's insurance department filed a petition and the insurer consented to the order. A court-appointed statutory receiver will be managing ULLICO Casualty's operations, and ULLICO Inc.'s management team is cooperating with the receiver.
