Study puts N.H. workers' comp rates at 9th highest in nation. A recent study by Oregon Dept. of Consumer and Business services shows, that although New Hampshire's mix rate (average manual rate for the state) has been declining in recent years, the state ranks 9th out of the 50 states and DC for having the highest cost of Workers' Compensation insurance.
