Florida Workers' Compensation Rates to Increase 6.1% on 1/1/13

Florida approved a 6.1% increase in workers' compensation rates pending three minor amendments to the NCCI's rate filing request.  If NCCI turns these requests by November 2nd, the new rates will be in play for all accounts renewing 1.1.13 and beyond.  Note that this is the third rate increase in Florida on the heels of rate (link here) filing release post oir order 1-1-13 reductions every year between 2003-2010. filing release post oir order 1-1-13
